Our client
Our client is a statutory agency tasked with the significant responsibility of protecting Australia’s national interests from foreign threats. As well as collecting and analysing foreign intelligence, our client provides information security services to the Australian Government.

The role
Our clients Cloud Division is seeking experienced Technology Architects with deep experience in commercial cloud technologies to work in cross-functional teams to deliver an enterprise hybrid cloud environment. They will use their expertise provide input to strategic platform decisions as well as to assist customers develop solutions for specific business requirements and generalise these for reuse as patterns or blueprints.

As the technology Architect you will:

• Develop the target design, policies and standards, for a broad range of business use cases, ensuring consistency of design across the enterprise, and facilitating endorsement by the appropriate Design Authority.
• Drive cloud architecture at a strategic level across all lines of business, specifically toward self-service cloud adoption/migration.
• Engage with mission areas to understand their needs, developing strategic and/or tactical solutions appropriate the enterprise vision and intended mission outcome.
• Architect solutions that deliver to the Government security standards.
• Review internal and externally developed architecture and design artefacts to ensure consistency with enterprise designs, policies and standards.
• Advise Program Management and Design Authorities on technical risks and mitigations.
