
Administration Coordinator
We’re on the lookout for a proactive Administration Coordinator to support the high-impact Government Relations team for this large government body.
This is your opportunity to play a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting key government relations initiatives that influence public policy and contribute to safer communities across Victoria.
Key activities
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and manage briefing materials that go directly to Ministerial Offices and key government stakeholders.
- Keep systems sharp – maintaining logs, tracking materials, and ensuring deadlines are never missed.
- Work with the Media Team to organise high-profile events and Ministerial visits.
- Own program reporting for the team – from weekly updates to monthly reports – ensuring information flows accurately and efficiently.
- Be the trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships that support collaboration and delivery.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- Experience in delivering high-level administrative support in dynamic and confidential settings.
- Previous experience working in a politically sensitive environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – you know how to write clearly, simply, and with purpose.
- A proven track record of juggling competing priorities under tight timelines.
- Tech confidence – you’re comfortable with Word, Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and more.
- Eagle-eyed attention to detail, especially when it comes to editing and proofreading.
