Join a Leading Global Professional Services Company to support a major government department by providing application support for business-critical systems. You’ll address root causes and ensure the swift restoration of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve application issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Analyse system performance and recommend enhancements for optimisation.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide round-the-clock support.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor the performance of applications, infrastructure, and associated data services using available tools, integrating these into dashboards for service performance monitoring.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for supported applications.
  • Adhere to IT delivery standards, procedures, and runbooks.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage release and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in integration technologies within Java, J2EE technologies, Greenplum Database, PostgreSQL
