APS3 Participant Support Officer Berwick
About the Role:
12-month contract with potential beyond for an APS3 Participant Support Officer to join the Complex Supports Needs Branch of a Large federal agency currently undertaking several major Service Delivery initiatives.
12 Month initial hourly rate contract, paying $37.36 hourly + Superannuation.
Based in Berwick requiring 5 days on site per week.
Key Duties:
- Managing and resolving participant matters by actioning planning tasks as per the NDIS Act.
- Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online support.
- Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate government or community services.
- Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
- Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.
- Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence.
- Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
- Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the Business systems.
Key skills required for role/s:
- Written and verbal communication
- MS Office
- Strong coordination skills
- Prior Reception experience
- Disability or government background advantageous
Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
