APS5 Co-Design & Engagement Officer
About the Role:
12-month contract with potential beyond for a APS5 level Co-Design & Engagement Officer to join the Communications & Engagement Division of a Large federal agency currently undertaking several major transformation projects.
12 Month initial hourly rate contract, paying $55.24 hourly + Superannuation.
Based in Richmond with 3 days in the office and the rest from home.
Key Duties:
- Working as part of a high performing team to effectively engage with people with disability, their families and carers using a nationally consistent engagement approach.
- Representing the Agency at external meetings, providing information and guidance to people with disability, NDIS participants and the wider community.
- Proactively delivering co design and engagement activities and projects against the NDIA Co design and Engagement strategy by applying co design communication and engagement experience.
- Delivering clear, concise and effective messaging to people with disability, their families and carers as well as other community and mainstream stakeholders.
- Creating accessible meeting documents and written communication

Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
