About the Role:
The APS5 Legal Practice and Capability role is integral to supporting the agency’s legal operations. The successful candidate will be involved in policy advice, stakeholder engagement, and administrative support, contributing to the agency’s goal of building a world-class disability support scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within legislative frameworks, ensuring compliance with statutory timeframes.
- Engage with stakeholders to support agency goals.
- Research and assess information to create case summaries and draft responses.
- Manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to process and procedural improvements.
- Coordinate requests and manage workflow within the team.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of legal and administrative processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in policy advice and legislative compliance.
- Capacity for independent decision-making and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in law or related field.
