
APS6 Business Analyst (Disability Supports)
Opportunity
Our client is a federal government agency. They have a great opportunity for multiple APS6 level Business Analyst’s to join the Accessibility and Inclusion team. (Part of The Office of Agency Accessibility and Inclusion (OAAI) Branch)
- Initial contract until June 30th – Extensions likely
- Option to be based out of the Richmond or Geelong office, with 2 days per week work-from-home
- $60.26 hourly + Superannuation
The role
- Providing professional expertise, services, and guidance that contributes to positive outcomes for the Agency, OAAI and staff.
- Anticipating challenges and assisting in resolving or developing solutions to improve outcomes.
- Working independently or under limited guidance in relation to an area of OAAI expertise.
- Making decisions, with support for tasks with considerable complexity and sensitivity for the Agency.
- Managing complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve OAAI and Agency objectives.
- Contributing to the development of team objectives and prioritise OAAI tasks, projects, and services.
- Assisting with planning strategically longer-term initiatives, program and project management and policy development for OAAI.
- Developing innovative initiatives and contributing to business improvement strategies
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis and project management, particularly in the context of disability supports and workplace adjustments.
- Ability to gather and document requirements, develop project plans, and manage timelines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
