Opportunity
Hourly Rate contract based in Melbourne, or any other national CBD location with hybrid work flexibility. Initial approval to 30 June 2025 with 12-month extension option.
$80-90 per hour inc super. This is a federal Agency undergoing a large-scale systems and digital transformation, and a great opportunity to be sponsored for AGSVA Baseline Clearance.

Role
Essentially driving Graphic and Visual Design projects related to digital learning for the new CRM system and standard operating procedures being rolled out. You’ll be joining the Digital Learning Team, working with ICT and Comms and Branding to drive the visual and graphic design using mixed media (eg video, learning games etc).

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in professional Graphic Designer / Visual Designer position
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, design, or related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience
  • Expertise in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma) for creating visual content
  • Photography and videography experience and proficiency with photo and video-editing software
  • Excellent relationship building skills and willingness to receive and provide constructive feedback to build and sustain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience driving Graphic Design projects and project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner (WCAG AA accessibility HIGHLY regarded).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritise requests while maintaining high standards and accuracy
  • Sound research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proof of Australian Citizenship to be able to secure Baseline Clearance

Any experience designing visual and video content for e-learning or Salesforce or other CRM within government would be HIGHLY regarded.
