About the Role:
Are you an experienced Asset Manager with a background in road infrastructure? We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and govern the asset change request process for road assets within a busy harbour zone. This includes pavements, footpaths, traffic lights, and all road-related infrastructure.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of asset modification and upgrade requests, assessing risks, and guiding requests through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end asset change request process for road infrastructure, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.

  • Assess risks and impacts associated with asset modification requests and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, acting as the key liaison between request initiators and the implementation teams.

  • Work alongside a dedicated coordinator and experienced data officers to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of 3 direct reports, with potential for expansion.

  • Support pricing and strategy development specific to road infrastructure projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in asset management within road infrastructure, transport, or related industries.

  • Strong understanding of the asset change management process, from request to implementation.

  • Relevant industry experience.

  • Exposure to aviation or manufacturing environments is advantageous.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work on-site in Rockdale with fleet vehicles available.
