The role:
Our Government client is seeking an experienced Asset Management Strategy Business Analyst to assist in the planning and facilitating of business analysis activities and carrying out high level modelling of As-Is business processes and synthesise knowledge gathered into proposals for enhanced To-Be processes.

Skills and Duties

  • Plan and facilitate business analysis activities including workshop and stakeholder interviews.
  • Gathering, analysing and documenting business capabilities and business requirements, as well as specifying operational data needs and pain points.
  • Translating information and documenting in the form of software features, acceptance criteria and other business analysis artefacts.
  • Conduct and assist with definition and testing of business systems including the investigation and resolution of application system problems whilst offering specialist advice in the context of the solution design and business process improvement.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with an initiative to work with minimal direction and form agreed plans to execute.
  • Provide a conduit between the business areas and our external partners and/or the IT development test and operations team; whilst working in a multi-disciplinary team comprised of subject matter experts, developers, testers, external vendors and project managers.
  • Interpreting business rules and requirements into software features, acceptance criteria, user stories and other another analysis.
