Assistant Director Service Guidance
Adelaide Based Position
12 months initial contract + possible extensions

Due to nature of project only Australian Citizens will be considered for this role.

The Assistant Director is accountable to undertake complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the Service Guidance and practice functions.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills,
  • High attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues and manage risks across wide-ranging activities.
  • The role manages a small team, providing leadership and managing workloads
  • A positive contemporary attitude to people with disability along with a high level of understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals.
  • Applying project management skills to coordinate and support Agency business areas to undertake effective resource development
  • Provide strategic direction and establish priorities for the work area to meet operational requirements, ensuring that the teams have the necessary guidance for performing their roles
  • Encourage different ideas, insights and opinions.
  • Resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
  • Provide leadership, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the team membership and assigned contractors working within the work area.
