
Audio Visual Technician
Talent International is searching for an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our government client based in Brisbane CBD on a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension.
The Role:
Join a specialist ICT team supporting in-court audio-visual (AV) and conferencing systems across Queensland. This hands-on role will involve AV system installation, maintenance, remote monitoring, and providing support and training to court users. You’ll work both on-site and remotely to ensure seamless AV operations, often autonomously and occasionally requiring travel to regional sites.
Responsibilities:
// First-contact technical support via ServiceNow, Teams, phone, and in-person
// Install and maintain AV equipment, including DSPs, control systems, and video conferencing tools
// Monitor AV systems remotely and resolve faults proactively
// Deliver AV training and support to court staff and judiciary
// Maintain accurate equipment records and assist in system audits
// Liaise with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues and support AV initiatives
Requirements:
// Proven experience supporting complex AV systems in networked environments
// Skills in Cisco VC, AMX control systems, Biamp/Clearone DSPs
// Familiarity with AV gain structure, reinforcement, and conferencing hardware
// ITIL/ITSM knowledge and electronics/AV integration training (desirable)
// Must hold a valid QLD driver’s license
// Able to travel intrastate and attend site a minimum of 4 days per week
