Bookkeeper - 6 month contract - Subiaco

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to make a meaningful impact within a non-profit organisation? We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team one day a week. This role will support our financial operations, helping us to continue making a difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Process payroll and manage employee records using Employment Hero
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable in Xero
- Prepare financial reports for management and assist with month-end close
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow projections
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting as needed
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a non-profit or community organisation
- Proficiency in Xero and Employment Hero is essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders
