Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to make a meaningful impact within a non-profit organisation? We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team one day a week. This role will support our financial operations, helping us to continue making a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Process payroll and manage employee records using Employment Hero
  • Maintain accounts payable and receivable in Xero
  • Prepare financial reports for management and assist with month-end close
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow projections
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a non-profit or community organisation
  • Proficiency in Xero and Employment Hero is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders
