Our Client

Our client is a statutory agency tasked with the significant responsibility of protecting Australia’s national interests from foreign threats. As well as collecting and analysing foreign intelligence, our client provides information security services to the Australian Government.

The Role

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to investigate, analyse, review and document a range of current business processes, as well as identify new and alternative approaches to performing business activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Accountable for analysing stakeholder objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations into business needs problems and opportunities.
  • Develop plans and select appropriate techniques at the correct level of detail to meet assigned objectives.
  • Provide advice and guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify potential business benefits and options to realise business improvements.

Skills and Experience

  • Conversant with techniques covering the full range of modelling situations.
  • Manages the execution of business process improvements.
  • Develops graphical models of business processes to facilitate understanding and decision-making.
  • Investigates business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity.
  • Conducts root cause analysis and identifies recommendations for improvements.
