Business Analyst - Legal Separation
The opportunity
Our client is a federal government organisation. They have a great opportunity for a Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst with previous experience in legal separation and demergers to join a large program of work.
- Initial contract to June 30th plus potential to extend
- Daily rate range up to $1000 per day
- Hybrid WFH – minimum 2 days in office per week
The role
As a business analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and foster relationships with internal stakeholders to understand the business domain, challenge assumptions, and secure alignment
- Collaborate with leaders across the organisation to define service offerings and produce an agency level service catalogue suitable for staff guidance
- Support the Legal Separation Program with change initiatives through documentation and coordination of impact assessments and working with business owners to define and document processes
- Support with change management across a range of system implementation/ migration activities
- Support agency level contingency planning to minimise the risk of business disruption ensuring gaps are identified
- Participate in and drive the continual improvement of ways of work
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrated experience with large enterprise separations/demergers/divestitures
- Additional experience in federal government would be highly regarded
- Strong skills across business process management, change management, and service catalogue development
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement experience and the ability to manage complexity
- Excellent communication skills
