Business Improvement Officer
WA Government Client is looking for a business improvement officer to work on an initial 6-month contract with possible extension. This role will be based in Fremantle and offers a chance to work in a growing team that supports the implementation of improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assit with the implementation, reporting on and monitoring of improvement initiatives, in line with change management best principles.
- Assist with the design and development of improvements to business systems and processes, frameworks and training requirements.
- Assit with auditing and compliance activities.
- Supports the maintenance of governance frameworks as required.
- Assists in the preparation of Executive, Board and Ministerial papers or presentations.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing business improvement initiatives and effecting change across organisations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to prepare a variety of documentation including preparation of complex correspondence, proposals, briefings and governance framework materials.
- Any experience in governance frameworks, change and auditing is highly desirable.
