
Business Project Manager (Risk & Controls Compliance)
Opportunity: 24-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location + WFH Flexibility: Sydney CBD Fringe (Hybrid – 3-4 days in office)
Salary: Up to $173,000 including super
Role Overview:
Our client, a leading entertainment destination, is seeking a Business Project Manager to join their team on an Initial 24 month fixed term contract. This role will support the Senior Project Manager in delivering the ICMs Program. The Project Manager will provide critical project administrative and delivery support, ensuring the program meets its outcomes within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Project Manager in delivering the ICMs Program in.
- Provide schedule management, risk and issue management, and oversee key decisions.
- Ensure compliance with the Transformation Office (TO) project delivery framework and governance standards.
- Manage business stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in preparing status reports for the Remediation Steering Committee and regulatory bodies.
- Work closely with the Change Manager to align the change management plan with the program schedule.
- Support the Change Manager in identifying communication requirements.
- Direct and manage project resources efficiently.
- Monitor and control project delivery, including status reporting, financial management, and integrated change control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in project management.
- Strong track record of delivering projects within time, budget, scope, and quality constraints.
- Experience managing relationships with internal business stakeholders and external providers.
- Proficiency in MS Project or scheduling tools, reporting, and raising risks and issues.
- Experience with project-related procurement activities.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Project Management, Business, Commerce, Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Industry-recognised certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2, or PMBoK are highly desirable.
