About the role

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role encompasses a wide range of administrative and coordination duties aimed at enhancing the organisation’s overall operational effectiveness.

A key aspect of the role involves supporting the Finance Manager with general financial administrative tasks, including:

  • Preparing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Administering in-house expense accounts.
  • Providing general financial administration support.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Offering administrative support to the Deputy Chief Executive and Consultants as needed.
  • Coordinating meeting logistics.
  • Booking travel and accommodation.
  • Providing administrative support for a variety of programmes.
  • Managing the external enquiries inbox.

As a busy, office support role, the scope of responsibilities may evolve as new projects and opportunities come up.

About you

The skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Proven administration and coordination experience.
  • Previous experience in finance administration.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • High level of technical competence. Experience with financial management systems is an advantage; LGNZ uses Xero.
  • An enjoyment of working with and for people.
