About the role
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role encompasses a wide range of administrative and coordination duties aimed at enhancing the organisation’s overall operational effectiveness.
A key aspect of the role involves supporting the Finance Manager with general financial administrative tasks, including:
- Preparing accounts payable and receivable.
- Administering in-house expense accounts.
- Providing general financial administration support.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Offering administrative support to the Deputy Chief Executive and Consultants as needed.
- Coordinating meeting logistics.
- Booking travel and accommodation.
- Providing administrative support for a variety of programmes.
- Managing the external enquiries inbox.
As a busy, office support role, the scope of responsibilities may evolve as new projects and opportunities come up.
About you
The skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Proven administration and coordination experience.
- Previous experience in finance administration.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- High level of technical competence. Experience with financial management systems is an advantage; LGNZ uses Xero.
- An enjoyment of working with and for people.
We anticipate you may come from an accounts administration background and be seeking an opportunity to broaden your skill set, or you might be an office manager for a small team looking to step up in your role.
