Change and Communications Manager

Opportunity to join this large government body as a Change Manager where you’ll lead the development and implementation of change management plans to ensure the successful delivery of strategic projects within a major transformation program.

Your brand-new role will see you leverage the organisation’s Change Management methodology (PROSCI) and best practices to deliver impactful outcomes while building internal change management and leadership capabilities.

Key activities

  • Deliver comprehensive change management activities, including impact analysis, communication and engagement planning, capability assessments, training design and development, stakeholder management, and communications.
  • Integrate change management strategies and deliverables into overall project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the change management program, including budgets and resources, to senior leadership or project governance committees as required.
  • Provide expert coaching and advice to Project Managers, Divisional Leaders, Line Managers, and Change Champions on managing change impacts and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teams across People, Culture & Engagement, Enterprise Change, Functional Training, and Business Partners to align organisational impacts with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the consistent application of change management practices by utilising established tools and templates.
  • Support the establishment and embedding of the organisation’s Enterprise Change approach.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of proven success in developing and implementing change programs.
  • PROSCI Change Management Accreditation.
  • Strong understanding of change and project management methodologies.
  • Experience in workforce capability analysis.
  • Expertise in training design and development.
  • Strong background in creating and delivering effective communication strategies.
  • Knowledge of organisational design principles.
  • A degree in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Development, or related fields is highly regarded.
