Change Manager

The Role:
We are seeking a forward-thinking and hands on Change Manager to lead a transformative technology and organisational change initiative within a manufacturing environment. This role goes beyond traditional change management, requiring innovative strategies and a pragmatic approach to address unique challenges such as employee digital literacy, basic literacy, and language barriers. You will spearhead a large-scale implementation, ensuring seamless adoption while delivering impactful results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing change within manufacturing industries, coupled with the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and actively engage with all levels of the organisation. This role is pivotal in driving cultural and technological transformation, supporting training initiatives, and conducting gap analyses to ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
- Conduct change impact analyses and identify key stakeholders.
- Address employee challenges related to digital literacy and language barriers with tailored communication and training solutions.
- Collaborate with training on comprehensive training programs, identifying gaps and creating targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans.
- Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, addressing issues as they arise.
- Work closely with leaders and teams to provide coaching and drive change adoption.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure strategies align with business needs and goals.
- Evaluate the success of change efforts and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Requirements for the Role:
- 8+ years of experience in change management, including large-scale implementation projects.
- Experience with a SAP implementaion project at enterprise scale.
- Proven track record of managing change in manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, including , e.g., Prosci ADKAR
- Ability to think outside the box and develop practical, results-driven solutions.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, utilising tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Prosci or ACMP are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ensure active participation and feedback from key stakeholders.
- Meet change-related project milestones on time and within budget.
- Maintain open feedback loops to continuously enhance change management practices.
Additional Considerations:
This role requires occasional travel depending on project needs. Travel will involve addressing change management challenges on-site to ensure alignment with business goals and effective implementation.
