
Change Support Officer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Change Support Officer for a 12 month contract. This role is pivotal in supporting the implementation of change management activities, ensuring the smooth adoption and integration of new IT capabilities within their team. The successful candidate will be working onsite in Canberra and will play a key role in fostering collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing to bolster organisational change readiness.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing activities to enable successful change adoption in complex IT environments, providing administrative and logistical support to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and disseminate change-related communications to enhance user awareness and understanding, maintaining clear and consistent messaging.
- Engage with stakeholders to build awareness, understanding, and support for change initiatives, including the facilitation of Change Champions.
- Support the codification of developed knowledge into training materials and documentation, ensuring effective knowledge transfer processes.
- Monitor stakeholder feedback to identify and address concerns, collaborating with the project team for updates and recommendations.
- Plan and execute training, workshops, and engagement activities, assisting in reporting on change readiness and operational metrics.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on creating effective change communications.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and support stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Familiarity with SFIA skills ICPM 3 and content management practices.
- Experience with NIC agencies and the intelligence production process is desirable.
- Proven ability to support creative problem solving and contribute to continuous improvement.
