Our client is a statutory agency tasked with the significant responsibility of protecting Australia’s national interests from foreign threats. As well as collecting and analysing foreign intelligence, our client provides information security services to the Australian Government.
About The Role
Our Federal client is seeking the engagement for multiple Cloud Architects who will be responsible for the creation, iteration, and maintenance of architecture within the key realm of Cloud embodying the key principles, methods and models that describe the organisation future state. They will interpret business goals and drivers; translate business strategy and objectives into an “operating model”; identify required changes in capabilities; and understand the inter-relationships between people, organisation, service, process, data, information, technology and the external environment.
Key Duties include:
- Develop capability roadmaps, models and plans to drive forward the current Cyber Security strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance
- Identify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
- Deliver capability utilising the systems engineering lifecycle, including the development of system designs and complex design documentation.
- Manage the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the program, and gaining endorsement by the program’s Design Authority.
- Develop high level designs for IT infrastructure, including network, storage and compute, along with contemporary cloud technologies and security (if applicable).
Skills and Experience:
- · Minimum 3 years’ experience in Cloud Systems or related field · Detailed experience with Critical Infrastructure network security
