• Permanent Full-Time position – Up to $160k package
• Must be located in Canberra
• Must hold minimum NV1 security clearance

The Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on CMDB Consultant to join their team. This role involves deploying asset discovery tools into customer environments, ensuring seamless configuration and integration. You will be responsible for overseeing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) implementation, managing discovery processes, and optimizing asset tracking and visibility across the IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Deploy and configure asset discovery tools such as ServiceNow Discovery, Flexera, or ManageEngine within customer environments.
• Lead the integration of discovery tools with the CMDB for accurate asset and configuration tracking.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions align with business objectives.
• Maintain data quality and accuracy within the CMDB, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with asset discovery tools like ServiceNow Discovery, Flexera, or ManageEngine.
• Proficient in deploying and integrating discovery tools within a customer environment.
• Strong understanding of CMDB concepts, processes, and best practices.
• Experience working in IT environments with complex infrastructures, including cloud and on-premise systems.
• ITIL certification or experience with ITIL processes is preferred.
