Communications Advisor
Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering impactful communication strategies that drive successful change initiatives. As a Change and Communications Specialist, you will work within the broader Change and Adoption team to develop and implement targeted communication strategies that support both program and project delivery. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure key messages are effectively conveyed and engagement is maintained across diverse and geographically dispersed groups. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating high-quality communication materials and managing communication risks, ensuring the success of each initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication plans and strategies that align with program and project objectives, ensuring consistent and clear messaging across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Design and produce a variety of professional communication artefacts tailored to diverse audiences, utilising a range of software tools, including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Identify communication risks, issues, learnings, and opportunities for improvement, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the effective delivery of communications.
- Maintain and update program and project intranet sites to ensure stakeholders have easy access to the latest information.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support seamless communication efforts and ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Lead and contribute to the planning and coordination of communication events such as surveys, forums, presentations, and other key engagement activities.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure communication efforts are aligned with organisational goals and provide advice to ensure outcomes are met.

Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar communication role, ideally within an ICT program/project environment.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communication, or a similar discipline.
- Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to craft creative content for different audiences and communication channels.
- Strong proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, InDesign), video and animation software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Vyond), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Vision 6).
- Experience with survey and event management tools such as Survey Monkey, Eventbrite, MS Teams Events, and MS Forms.
- Proven experience in maintaining SharePoint site content and delivering presentations using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and Yammer.
- Expertise in managing events, from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, driving change through effective communication strategies.
