Contract Manager (SCADA/OT)
The Client & Role:
We’re currently working with an Australian utilities organisation who are looking for a Contract Manager with experience in SCADA, OT or Asset Knowledge for an initial 12-month engagement.
The client is currently undertaking a large-scale delivery of a new SCADA solution which looks to be completed over the next three year, with this role looking to extend to fruition.
The client operates three days per week on-site out of their Melbourne office and rate on offer is up to $1000 per day inclusive of super and cost.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement contract management strategies for the SCADA project.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners, ensuring favourable terms for the company.
- Manage and monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of the SCADA solution.
- Provide expert advice on contract risks and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in SCADA and Operational Technology (OT).
- Ensure that all contractual documentation is accurate and well-maintained.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Contract Management within an Operational Technology environment; candidates with extensive IT environment experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of SCADA systems and their application in asset management.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to interpret and manage complex contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
