Our Client
Our client is a statutory agency tasked with the significant responsibility of protecting Australia’s national interests from foreign threats. As well as collecting and analysing foreign intelligence, our client provides information security services to the Australian Government.
The Role
Our client is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to support the proactive identification, assessment and analysis of systems and their dependencies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct and lead risk based assessments and reporting activities in accordance with internal frameworks
- Contribute to ongoing the development of operational processes, frameworks and practices as it relates to risk based assessments
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, to identify new methods to achieve the teams objectives (with an emphasis on identity and maximising the value of available data)
Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years experience working in an intelligence or cyber threat analysis environment
- Demonstrable experience leading and performing Cyber Security risk and/or threat based assessments
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Experience working in an operational cyber security environment (such as performing Security Operations or Incident Response)
- Ability to develop technical solutions to support the automation of analytical activities (ie through scripting)
