Purpose:

We are now recruiting for a Cyber Ops Manager who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cyber operations within RAA, managing a team of cybersecurity analysts, and ensuring effective protection against cyber threats. This role is pivotal in maintaining a secure environment, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and supporting the organization’s overarching cyber transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity operations and compliance requirements.

Required:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, vulnerability scanners, and encryption techniques.
Strong Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements such as SOC2, APRA, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
A solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures.
Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating malware, phishing, ransomware, and other cyber threats.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
