Purpose:
We are now recruiting for a Cyber Ops Manager who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cyber operations within RAA, managing a team of cybersecurity analysts, and ensuring effective protection against cyber threats. This role is pivotal in maintaining a secure environment, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and supporting the organization’s overarching cyber transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity operations and compliance requirements.
Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
- Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, vulnerability scanners, and encryption techniques.
- Strong Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements such as SOC2, APRA, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- A solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and architectures.
- Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating malware, phishing, ransomware, and other cyber threats.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
