The Role

This opportunity seeks a Cyber Range Exercise Planner to scope, script and guide the creation of the Cyber Terrain. The successful candidate will require extensive experience in ADF Operational Planning as well as ADF Training Management Frameworks.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engagement with government and cyber units to scope, design and create scripting
  • Provide guidance and advice on building training environments
  • Lead the team in scripting story boards
  • Write CONOPS for Blue and Red team cyber exercises
  • Act as White Team to stimulate cyber environments
  • Act as the Cyber Planner for external stakeholders

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience undertaking ADF Joint Exercise Planning
  • A strong background working with government agencies
  • Experience undertaking Training Curriculum development
  • Offensive operational cyber experience (desirable)
  • Tertiary qualifications in ICT, Information Security, or equivalent Defence studies
