About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and drive initiatives within a Network Modernisation Program. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing the organisation’s security posture while navigating complex technical and stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cyber security projects within the Network Modernisation Program, ensuring successful delivery against scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security enhancements across network infrastructure.
- Engage and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, providing clear communication and influencing decision-making.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate security requirements into actionable project deliverables.
- Ensure effective governance, reporting, and compliance with security frameworks and organisational policies.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance related to security initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience managing cyber security projects within network modernisation, transformation, or infrastructure programs.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, Essential Eight).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations and drive alignment across diverse business functions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex security concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- A strategic and proactive approach to problem-solving, balancing security priorities with business objectives.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, telecommunications, government) is advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on cyber security or network transformation.
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Cyber security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are highly desirable.
- Experience working within enterprise environments or large-scale IT programs.
