Job Details
Our client is seeking two experienced Data and Analytics Delivery Managers to support the delivery of strategic data assets and data products. This role involves managing a virtual cross-functional team to deliver high-quality outputs and ensuring that business and technical requirements align with validated business use cases.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a Data and/or Analytics team to deliver project outcomes to a high quality, managing risks and issues along the way.
- Manage a project schedule to ensure continued alignment between the delivery team and impacted internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and manage dependencies between the responsible delivery objectives and other project or business areas.
- Ensure a high degree of traceability and documentation within the delivery team to enable prompt and efficient reviews and approvals of deliverables.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated expertise leading Data and/or Analytics teams to deliver change programs to achieve identified business objectives and benefits.
- Demonstrated expertise managing skilled data and/or analytics resources and ensuring a high level of quality in the team’s output, while balancing delivery timeline pressures.
- Demonstrated expertise constructing a detailed plan of activity to discover, conceptualise, design, build and implement data assets and data products using industry best practice delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Prince2, PMBOK).
- Experience working in agile and hybrid models to develop data products utilising JIRA to plan, track and measure progress and productivity.
- Experience working with, and positively influencing, internal and external stakeholders to autonomously identify and overcome delivery risks and issues.
- Experience managing and maintaining a project schedule to ensure dependencies with other delivery teams are identified and managed to prevent risks and ensure a quality outcome.
