About The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to deliver data development and architecture support within the Database Management and Dynamics Section.

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must hold a current security clearance at the NV1 level.

Our ideal Data Engineer will be responsible for:

• Platforms: Experience designing and developing data load processes in Microsoft Fabric, Synapse or Data Factory.

• Programming: Strong SQL/T-SQL skills.

• Sources: Experience with a wide range of data sources/formats including REST APIs, Excel, JSON, Parquet and Delta.

• Data: Demonstrated experience preparing, integrating and optimizing data for analysis and reporting

• DevOps: Experience with DevOps processes and tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.

Skills and Experience

• Experience integrating and analysing diverse data sets in complex and business critical environments.

• Assist with performance and capacity management of SQL server systems.

• Provide technical advice as required for the departments SOE.
