Seeking a Business Analyst to join our client’s team in their Enterprise Data Group. You will work within their Data Maturity Uplift projects on data, process, and systems analysis along with pulling business requirements together with regards to data standards and guidelines. The role requires great communication, stakeholder management skills as the Business Analyst will navigate across multiple business groups as well as technical teams within the Digital division. The Enterprise Intelligence team within the Digital Division provides valuable services in relation to leveraging the organisations data to inform business decisions and support innovation.

Requirements:
– Strong ability to work with business stakeholders and data analysts to elicit a mix of business and/or technical requirements and translate into user stories;
– Identify information sets, source data and business logic or calculations applied and then document requirements in the form of user stories;
– Independently work with a mix of both technical data and business stakeholder roles to capture and document business requirements in new data standards required (expected mix of technical and business writing pending the standard);
– Whilst not mandatory, ideally have a working knowledge of Data Governance practises and the use of data standards/policies in the management of data overall.
– Create data visualisation mock-ups and reverse engineer requirements from existing solutions.
– Overall, have an appreciation of data lifecycles and be able to work with the relevant technical people and Data Management team to draft data standards for review and feedback through to completion.

Criteria:

– Demonstrated experience working on and facilitating/co-ordinating the delivery of data driven solutions with a focus on data maturity uplift across a diverse organisatio across a diverse organisation
– Ideally have experience working with regulated entities and a working understanding of data governance and compliance requirements, including data standards and data anonymisation
– Experience and knowledge pulling both business and technical requirements together with regards to data standards and working with key business and technical stakeholders along the way to producing quality standards and guidelines
