Our client is a leading national retailer currently seeking a Data Scientist to deliver across a range of projects enhancing customer experience.

Your new role will see you delivering seamless and proactive services across the business. By articulating customer opportunity, commercial benefit and data findings you will provide invaluable insights to the business. Internally, you will help promote the use of advanced analytics and help demonstrate the value behind business decisions.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in advanced analytics/ data science/ measurement science and/or econometrics
  • Experience designing and delivering AI solutions
  • Technical skills across regression, clustering, decision trees, machine learning etc.
  • Prior experience working with R, Python, PowerBI, Hive, Spark etc.
  • Retail industry exposure is advantageous but not essential

Our client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension. Offices are based in Melbourne’s inner suburbs with a requirement to be onsite 3 days per week.
