This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned defence organization in South Australia. Whether you aspire to progress from a Baseline Clearance to NV1, or already hold an NV1 clearance, this is the perfect role for you.

The position requires high-level customer service skills, where you will be liaising with clients and providing exceptional technical support. You will be joining on a 12-month hourly-rate contract, with the potential for ongoing extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dynamic technical, operational, and training support to users, both remotely and on-site, for desktop hardware and software packages.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues, swiftly coordinating repairs to keep systems running smoothly.
  • Collaborate on designing and planning innovative personal computer support systems.
    Serve as a key liaison for data transfer systems, overseeing design and seamless implementation.
  • Lead the installation and testing of personal computers, printers, and peripherals, configuring operating systems and applications to perfection.
  • Create detailed reports and databases that drive operational efficiency.
    Offer hands-on technical support, ensuring personal computers are fully functional and optimized.

Experience & Competencies:

  • Hold an NV1 clearance or Baseline Clearance for handling sensitive information.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional technical computer support, helping users resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Client OS products, including installation, deployment, troubleshooting, and application management.
  • Hands-on exposure to a wide range of documentation, from desktop builds to software installations and test plans.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and a variety of relevant software tools and applications.
  • Skilled in customer liaison roles, effectively communicating and resolving issues with clients.
