About the Role
Talent International is seeking four EL1 Assistant Directors for Service Guidance to join a Federal Government agency in Newcastle. This pivotal role involves leading the development of strategic, participant-focused guidance materials, managing a small team, and driving business improvement initiatives.

The role requires a collaborative leader with the ability to manage complex projects, maintain high attention to detail, and establish strong stakeholder relationships to advance the agency’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to collaboratively develop service delivery guidance.
  • Provide strategic advice on participant pathways, specific cohorts, and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE systems.
  • Drive business improvements, offering expert advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-level reporting to senior management, highlighting critical issues and progress.
  • Lead a small team, ensuring quality delivery of Agency Guidelines, letters, and knowledge articles.
  • Prioritize workloads and provide clear advice to the executive team on capacity, deliverables, and progress.
  • Represent the agency in multi-disciplinary teams, offering informed guidance to the executive, Board, Minister, and other government departments.
