EL1 Change Delivery Manager
The Opportunity
Our client is a community focused Federal Government Agency, currently seeking an EL1 Change Delivery Manager to assist the Agency with a large workforce transition program, ensuring effective project management and coordination.
6 month initial daily rate contract with the view for extension, offering $602.55 + Super in a hybrid work environment based out of either Richmond or Geelong with 2 days’ work from home.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide expert advice, research, reports and assessment on workforce transformation strategies, requirements, options and best-practice.
- Prepare and review high quality written material and products including strategy, policy, plans, reports, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
- Develop, manage and implement project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework.
- Contribute to project design, governance arrangements and operational integration.
- Ensure project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Engage with stakeholders to effectively communicate and collaborate around project requirements, outputs, decisions and consequences.
- Identify, assess, manage, escalate and monitor project risks, issues and benefits, including developing treatment strategies.
- Procure and manage external consultancies in accordance with the Agency’s policies and procedures to ensure transparency, value for money, and achievement of engagement objectives.
About you:
- Australian citizenship is mandatory to be considered eligible to work for this Federal Government Agency.
- Prior public sector experience.
- Prior background in workforce design, transition or planning is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated background coordinating internal and external stakeholders across large projects.
- Ability to represent the Agency across a range of forums
