About the Team:
The Procurement Branch is responsible for partnering with business areas to source goods and services for the Agency through a centralised procurement model. We focus on applying the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, and the agency’s Procurement Policy to ensure value for money outcomes.

Key Duties:
You will be shaping policy, and design and implementing important NDIS reforms. You may work on:

  • Designing system navigation
  • Support coordination and streamlining plan management
  • Innovating home and living supports
  • Home and living policy reform and guidance
  • Co-design initiatives and trials
  • Shaping the Specialist Disability Accommodation market
  • Creating an efficient and stable market for disability supports.

Skills and Experience

  • Monitoring and reporting on shared services performance and other agreement obligations.
  • Managing and resolving issues, risks and escalations that relate to the provision of shared services.
  • Supporting relevant governance committees and escalating risks and issues to committees.
  • Participating and contributing to in internal work programs that have an impact on shared services.
  • Conducting reviews of agreements on a reoccurring basis, as stipulated in the shared services governance framework.
  • Leading and managing the delivery of services from Services Australia to the NDIA under the shared services agreement in line with the relevant governance framework.
  • Supporting joint initiatives and projects with a focus on continuous improvement in services and issues management.
  • Preparing written correspondence, reporting and briefing materials.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
