Our Client
Our client is a high-profile federal government agency, often at the forefront of the media, responsible for the provision of support and advice to those entrusted with improving the lives of Australians. The agency supports the provision of effective and timely advice, delivery of government priorities, coordination of national and international agendas and collaboration and coordination of intergovernmental and whole-of-government policy.
The Role
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architects create and evolve architecture models that inform the design, development and evolution of business processes and supporting ICT systems.
The ICT Program Management Office are seeking Enterprise Architects to assist with the delivery of multiple projects within a Cyber Security and ICT Operational Uplift program.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to and leading architecture design and delivery, in conjunction with other Information Services Division Architects, and Senior Engineers
- Producing and reviewing project/services delivery documentation, including Architecture, Designs, ‘As built’ documentation, and Operating Procedures
- Define and document vision, objectives and scope of the program.
- Coordinating projects under the direction of the Senior Engineer and Infrastructure Manager
- Facilitating workshops with technical leads, business analysts and the lead solution architect
- Create a comprehensive plan outlining timelines, milestones, resourcing requirements to achieve the key deliverables.
- Engage with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, expectations, and resource commitments
- Develop a robust security architecture that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Refine the operational framework that includes processes, workflows, and governance structures necessary for effective ICT Service Management
- Completing a diverse range of technical tasks within a secure environment
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for cyber-security and operational enhancements
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated 3+ years experience working as an Enterprise Architect.
- Define, implement and lead the organisations IT architectural strategy, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and digital objectives, ensuring scalability, security and resilience across systems.
- Develop enterprise wide architecture to determine and assess changes to align with strategic direction and business needs.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and expertise in stakeholder engagement, including the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
- In-depth understanding of risk management practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with new and emerging technologies.
It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 security clearance.
