The Role

Our client is seeking a Software Developer to assist with troubleshooting, diagnosis, and rectification of system issues to ensure performance and availability. The successful candidate will be expected to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members and contribute towards the design of application features. They will also need to demonstrate an adaptive approach to change and have the ability to apply agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes that align with senior team member’s expectations.

Skills and Experience

  • Web development using modern web technologies
  • Experience designing and developing backend application solutions
  • Geospatial development experience
  • Experience working in a team with agile / DevOps technologies
  • Experience in any of Javascript, Angular, OpenLayers, AWS, Linux, or Go
  • Experience with platform agnostic solutions (Cloud and traditional installations)
  • Formal computing or engineering degree
