HCM Program Data Analyst

Parramatta/Eveleigh
12 Months Contract

Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced ‘HCM Program Data Analyst’.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the Data Management and Migration Strategies and associated Data Architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Support the development of data migration designs and plans
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of the program’s data reconciliation framework
  • Interact with subject matter experts and internal department stakeholders to understand and document legacy data requirements
  • Contribute to data profiling activities and provide guidance to service and support units around source data cleansing activities
  • Engage with the Functional stream and solution implementation partner to understand target state solution design
  • Create and maintain source to target data mappings while being a point of contact for relevant data migration activities
  • Collaborate with the data migration partner in undertaking extraction, transformation and load (ETL) tasks
  • Assist with and contribute to data migration runs and related activities
  • Conduct ongoing data reconciliation activities to review, validate and report on the comprehensiveness and quality of data migration runs
  • Identify and assist in the resolution of data migration defects, particularly when these relate to data verification issues
  • Work closely with external partners / experts to build an internal knowledge base and expertise for operational hand-over.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships across the program and ITD stakeholders and provide guidance to stakeholders in relation to business improvements relating to data (e.g. governance).
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolving data issues in a timely manner to reduce downtime

Key Criteria:

  • 5+ years data analysis and migration experience in large organisations
  • 3+ years of data migration experience with HR data sets within HCM systems
  • 3+ years of data migration experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP ERP Central Component (ECC).
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation and stakeholder skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and draw insights based on the underlying data.
  • Proficiency with SQL (desirable).
