About the Role

Talent International has been engaged by a Leading Global Manufacturer to recruit a Head of Human Resources on a permanent basis. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving HR strategy, transformation, and cultural change while supporting a large and diverse workforce.

  • Salary: $211,850 including superannuation + 15% performance bonus

  • Start date: Within 4 weeks

Role Details:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals
  • Lead a five-year HR transformation project to enhance workforce strategy and culture
  • Oversee EBA negotiations, compliance, and workplace relations
  • Drive leadership development, succession planning, and retention
  • Manage up to 8 Direct Reports
  • Scope and implement a new HRIS system to streamline operations
  • Partner with HR teams in Japan and Thailand to align policies and processes
  • Transition HR from a transactional function to a strategic business partner

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • 5+ years of experience in Head of HR or equivalent positions
  • Experience with various & complex awards
  • Proven HR leadership experience in a complex, multi-layered organisation
  • Expertise in industrial relations, EBA negotiations, and compliance
  • Strong track record in HR transformation and cultural change initiatives
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or technical services preferred
  • Ability to manage diverse teams across corporate and operational environments
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS implementation and process automation
