The HR Generalist is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing professional expertise, services, and guidance that contributes to positive outcomes for the Agency, OAAI and staff.
  • Anticipating challenges and assisting in resolving or developing solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Working independently or under limited guidance in relation to an area of expertise.
  • Making decisions, with support for tasks with considerable complexity and sensitivity for the Agency.
  • Managing complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives.
  • Contributing to the development of team objectives and prioritise tasks, projects, and services.
  • Assisting with planning strategically longer-term initiatives, program and project management and policy development.
  • Developing innovative initiatives and contributing to business improvement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of services, projects, and workplace practices.
