Talent International is searching for an Infrastructure Architect to join our commercial Client in the Aviation industry.

  • Initial 12 month daily rate contract
  • $940 inc super p/d
  • Based in Brisbane with 2 days WFH

Overview:
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions, with expertise in Cisco networking, data backup/storage, AWS environments, and End User Compute (EUC) technologies. You will play a crucial role in shaping and optimising our client’s IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Your responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions. Design, implement, and maintain network architecture, data backup/storage systems, AWS cloud infrastructure, and End User Compute (EUC) environments.
  • Cisco Networking: Design, configure, and maintain Cisco networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Optimize network performance, reliability, and security. Implement best practices for network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Data Backup/Storage: Develop and implement data backup and storage solutions to ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance. Design and configure storage systems, implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Architect, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security. Design scalable, cost-effective solutions leveraging AWS best practices and services
  • End User Compute (EUC): Design and manage End User Compute environments, including desktop virtualization, endpoint management, and application delivery solutions. Ensure seamless user experience across various devices and platforms while maintaining security and compliance standards.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and compliance standards across the infrastructure, including network security, data encryption, access control, and vulnerability management. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging threats to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, and development teams, to ensure alignment of infrastructure solutions with business goals. Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex infrastructure issues and challenges.
