One of our client is looking to hire Infrastructure Engineer for a 12 months contract with possibility of extension for a role based in Adelaide

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day management of all core infrastructure services, including monitoring and capacity management, backup recovery, requests for services and change, and problem management.

About the Role:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT infrastructure and security engineer position
  • Exposure and troubleshooting to multiple, diverse IT technologies and applications including server administration of Windows Server Platforms, Hypervisor Platforms, and an understanding of LAN/WAN architecture; and
  • Experience and knowledge using IT service delivery methodologies, including ITIL
  • IT systems administration, including installation, monitoring, incident and problem resolution, and maintaining the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for server and desktop builds
  • Analyse system performance, including modifying parameters to improve throughput and effectively utilise systems resources
  • Contributing to the analysis, scope and design of IT infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and IT strategy
  • Supporting the evaluation and selection of products and solutions, drawing upon industry market trends, environmental scanning and advancements within the technology industry
  • Complete daily health checks and respond accordingly to any issues which may arise
