Over the next 12 months, our client will implement a unified Outage and Application Management System (OAMS) the SCADA Enabled project has delivered a single Network Management solution.

The Integration Specialist is responsible for the design and development of integration using the Oracle Fusion Middleware platform including Oracle Service Bus and Oracle Weblogic Server. Additionally, Integration Specialists may be required to lead integration within a specific project working with project managers, architects, peers and Integration Lead as a point of contact and to assist with coordination of integration related activities.

The role will:

  • Provide a high degree of technical and analytical involvement in software development lifecycle services to deliver integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Success Factors, SAP Ariba and other corporate applications including ABB Ellipse, Hansen Peace, ESRI GIS, and GE PowerOn.
  • Utilise existing integration strategy, integration approach and integration reference architecture and apply this to the design and development of specific integration outcomes that are consistent with the defined standards and patterns.
  • provide integration services across multiple project and business functional areas including People Culture and Safety, Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Services, Geographical Information Systems, Distribution Management Systems, Asset and Works Management, and the Enterprise Intelligence Platform.
  • Primarily focus on integration needs within the data centre boundaries with delivery partners implementing integrations from the data centre boundary through to cloud based applications.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors and implementation partners to achieve best outcomes.
  • Estimate development cost, time and resource requirements for integration activities.
  • Plan, co-ordinate, monitor and manage individual work packages to ensure targets are met within an agreed scope and timeline.

Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience providing application to application integration working with in house and “off the shelf” vendor supplied systems. A detailed level of knowledge and experience in system and application integration is required.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of systems analysis, programming techniques, and software quality assurance.
  • Experience implementing solutions using Oracle Database, Oracle Service Bus, and Oracle Weblogic Server. Basic knowledge of application server administration functions to support local development environments and activities.
  • Knowledge and experience using SAP integration platforms and technologies including SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway, SAP Master Data Governance
