IT Business Analyst // Data Migration & Card Payments
Our client is a Tier 1 client in the Financial Services sector. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to support and enhance the delivery of complex IT projects, with a primary focus on data migrations and card payment systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in the financial technology domain.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for data migrations and card payment systems.
- Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and use cases.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration requirements and success criteria.
- Work with data architects and technical teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance during migrations.
- Assist in testing and validation of data migration processes to ensure seamless transitions.
- Gather and document requirements for card payment systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS.
- Support the implementation of secure and efficient payment processing solutions.
- Monitor emerging trends in card payments and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Serve as the liaison between business units, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather insights and align objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a focus on data migrations and card payments – A MUST
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, including PCI-DSS and data migration best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
