Our Federal Government client is Australia’s principle revenue collection agency, primarily responsible for administering the federal taxation system and superannuation legislation, as well as managing and delivering a range of Australian government payment and loan schemes.

The Role

This opportunity seeks an experienced Performance Test Lead to lead the design, documentation, running and analysis of performance tests across a range of applications, with a view to identifying areas for improvement.

The Performance Test Lead will support the production of performance-related documents, test strategies and plans, closure memos and executive updates, whilst also providing high-level technical, operational and procedural advice.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the ability to:

  • Provide leadership and direction to others and manage and report on individual and overall team performance
  • Develop performance test strategies and plans to meet application performance testing requirements and coordinate the delivery of a performance test project phase
  • Identify and report on technical issues or risks and collaborate on their resolution
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders establishing, maintaining effective, influential networks and represent the agency externally
  • Plan and design strategies to effectively and accurately performance test the technical aspects of integration services components, products and releases
  • Construct and document processes and procedures for the undertaking of performance testing activities
  • Adhere to system development methodologies in all performance test activities
  • Deliver consistent and high quality performance testing services
  • Work with technical teams/product owners to review the requirements and identify performance testing scope.
  • Make recommendations regarding process changes and drive implementation
  • Assist test automation developers in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Train team and assist the team in removing any obstacles during execution
  • Undertake Web API testing and mobile app testing
