Our Client

Our Federal Government client is Australia’s principle revenue collection agency, primarily responsible for administering the federal taxation system and superannuation legislation, as well as managing and delivering a range of Australian government payment and loan schemes.

The Role

This opportunity seeks an experienced Test Lead, with sound technical understanding of automated test tools and technologies, to work as part of a business area responsible for the development, maintenance and support of our client’s identity, authentication and authorisation applications. This includes Whole of Government digital initiatives and internal priority programs of work.

The Test Lead will be responsible for:

  • Evaluation, recommendation and implementation of technology and tools
  • Identification and communication of risk
  • Provision of advice and completion of complex activities associated with testing
  • Driving and defining standards throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Development of test capability and test automation capability
  • Monitoring, control and reporting of test progress, product quality, test results and completion

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the ability to:

  • Contribute to definition of Test Automation framework and automation of manual testing
  • Apply sound technical understanding of relevant automated test tools, i.e. Selenium, Appium, Specflow etc. in development of automated test suites
  • Apply practical programming experience using .Net (preferably C#), SQL, XML, and package management (e.g. nuget, npm etc) and experience with Github repository management.
  • Identify and automate manual test cases
  • Implement and manage continuous automated testing integration using Microsoft tools with Azure DevOps experience being highly desirable.
