Our federal government client has a requirement for a highly experienced ITSM Transformation/Delivery Manager to lead a range of initiatives to improve and transform the way the ITSM services are managed and delivered to the Department.

You will play a pivotal role in transforming their ITSM services and practices, through oversight and governance on the implementation of new ITSM tools, uplifting processes, and delivering exceptional value to the Department.

Additionally, the Delivery Manager will develop a transformation agenda/plan that outlines the goals, objectives, and timelines for transformation initiatives, which will include regular reporting to the Senior executive and key stakeholder groups on performance, assurance of delivery activities and risk posture.

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

  • Extensive IT service management and/or service delivery experience, with a focus on process optimisation, transformation, risk management and organisational change management.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management and the ITIL Service Lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation initiatives, managing technical and project delivery teams.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to align business and technical objectives, drive process improvement and optimise service delivery
  • Qualification and/or accreditation in service management, project management, quality management, systems, tools, frameworks, and standards (i.e., ITIL, ISO20000, PMBOK, Prince2, COBIT, etc).
