Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Service Designer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to direct and guide the research, prototype, and testing of service designs within a prestigious project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service catalogues, refining reporting metrics, and enhancing the effectiveness of service offerings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Assessment and Authorisations section service catalogue.
  • Define and refine the reporting metrics (dashboards) associated with the Authorisation To Operate process.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of section output.
  • Review existing procedures to identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the effectiveness of service offering.
  • Provide mentoring to APS staff in the continued operation of service catalogue items.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure service offering is fit-for-purpose and delivering against section objectives.
  • Develop a pragmatic working/operating-model for work take on, through to work delivery and reporting – using people, process, and technology as enablers.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in Jira management and improvement.
  • Strong background in user experience analysis, including understanding end users’ context and motivation, and using techniques such as personas, journey mapping, and prototyping.
  • Ability to conduct business situation analysis, defining requirements, and assessing potential solutions.
  • Expertise in requirements definition and management, ensuring that requirements are appropriately managed and traced.
  • Proficiency in business process improvement, including conducting analysis and documentation of “as is” processes and developing “could be” and “to be” service processes.
  • Experience in organisational capability development, focusing on assessing current organisational capabilities and facilitating the implementation of chosen options.
